What you'll find in our Agelocer range

Agelocer makes watches for people who want something a little different on the wrist. The range runs from a flying tourbillon to a slim, everyday quartz.

What ties it together is the build. Every piece in our range has a 316L stainless steel case and sapphire crystal.

316L is a hard-wearing, corrosion-resistant steel. Sapphire resists scratches far better than mineral glass, so the dial stays clear for years.

Agelocer fits its own named calibres, and each product page lists which one is inside. Here's how the range breaks down.

The flying tourbillon

A tourbillon is one of watchmaking's most admired complications. The balance wheel and escapement sit inside a small rotating cage, which turns continuously on the dial.

It was first invented to even out the effect of gravity on a pocket watch. Today it's prized mostly for craft and spectacle: it's mesmerising to watch.

A flying tourbillon is supported from one side only, with no bridge across the top. That gives an uninterrupted view of the cage as it turns.

Our Agelocer tourbillon uses the Cal. A9001 movement, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with an 80-hour power reserve. That's enough to sit off the wrist over a weekend and keep running.

The 42mm stainless steel case carries a ceramic bezel and a rubber strap, so it's a sporty take on a traditionally formal complication.

The Budapest: an everyday automatic

If you want one refined automatic for work and weekends, the Budapest is the place to start.

Its Cal. A4610 automatic movement also offers an 80-hour power reserve, beating at 28,800 vph. A transparent caseback shows the 27-jewel movement at work.

The slim 40mm case sits comfortably under a shirt cuff. It comes on a steel bracelet or a leather strap, with a choice of dials including a blue sunburst.

It's one of the most versatile watches in the range: dressy enough for a suit, relaxed enough for every day.

Square and sculpted statement pieces

Agelocer is known for shapes you won't see everywhere.

The square-cased automatic pairs the Cal. A5500 self-winding movement with a 40-hour power reserve, luminous hands and a leather strap. It reads bold and modern, and works best for business and evening wear.

The sculpted 5801 series takes things further, with an irregular case and a hybrid analog-digital dial. It's built for anyone who wants their watch to start a conversation.

Shaped cases wear differently from round ones, so check the case dimensions on each product page before you buy.

For her: the Baikal

The Baikal is a slim women's quartz watch with an ultra-thin 7mm case. It slips easily under a sleeve and feels light on the wrist all day.

Inside is the Cal. A1850 quartz movement, for accurate, low-maintenance timekeeping. The clean, numberless dial sits under sapphire crystal, and it's finished with a soft 13mm leather strap.

Choosing your size

The 40mm Budapest suits most wrists and works well as a dress watch. The 42mm tourbillon has more presence and suits average to larger wrists.

Looking after your Agelocer

Every Agelocer in our range is rated to 5ATM (50m). That covers rain, splashes and hand washing, but it isn't a swimming or diving rating.

Keep automatic and tourbillon watches away from strong magnets, such as phone cases and speakers. Avoid hard knocks, especially on the tourbillon.

If you wear an automatic only now and then, an automatic watch winder keeps it running between wears.

Frequently asked questions

Are Agelocer watches automatic or quartz?

Both. Our Agelocer range includes a flying tourbillon and several automatics, plus the Baikal, a slim women's quartz watch. Each product page names the movement.

What is a flying tourbillon?

A rotating cage that holds the balance wheel and escapement, supported from one side only. It turns continuously on the dial, giving a clear view of the mechanism at work.

How long does an Agelocer automatic run off the wrist?

It depends on the movement. The tourbillon and the Budapest each have an 80-hour power reserve. The square automatic's Cal. A5500 has a 40-hour reserve.

Can I swim with an Agelocer watch?

Our Agelocer range is rated to 5ATM (50m), which covers rain, splashes and hand washing. For swimming, choose a watch rated to 100m or more, such as our dive watches.

Do you have Agelocer watches for women?

Yes. The Baikal is a slim 7mm women's quartz watch with sapphire crystal and a leather strap.

What warranty comes with an Agelocer watch?

Every watch we sell comes with a 2-year warranty. Australian Consumer Law guarantees also apply on top of any warranty; the ACCC explains your rights.
